Single Shot Privacy Policy
So, you want to subscribe to Single Shot, but before you give up the digits, you want to know what we're going to do with your personal information. It's a reasonable question. You want to be on the list, but at what cost? Well, here's the straight dope. Single Shot sends a fresh message to your email inbox once a day. But in order to get the message to you, we need one very important piece of information: Your email address. Read on to find out exactly how we use it.
Third Party Advertisers
Single Shot will not sell or lend your email address to a third party advertiser. That said, Single Shot does sell advertising to make money and sustain itself. Occasionally, you will receive messages from Single Shot which are paid for by advertisers. These messages will be as fun and informative as every other message you get from us, but paid advertisements will always bear a clear and distinct label alerting you to their commercial nature.
Banner Ads
Messages from Single Shot contain spaces reserved for banner type advertising. Although we do not currently have any bonafide paid advertisements in our messages, we look forward to a time when we do. For now, we do not record the number of times you click on our placeholder "ads." We do not plant cookies on your computer -- mostly because our programmers are inept and wouldn't know how to plant even a chocolate chip cookie. There is no other surreptitious probing of your equipment going on when you read a Single Shot email. We only take what you give us.
Single Shot is young but growing and in order to keep growing we need the support of subscribers like you. If you have any further questions about our privacy policy, you may send us an email. Or drop us a message by U.S. post at:
