Job Requirements

Certain jobs require a baseline of natural assets. Professional singers need melodic voices. Surgeons need steady hands. Rock stars need a high tolerance for drugs.

Case in point, Frankie Wilde. He was a DJ riding high on Britain's DJ-worshipping dance scene. At the peak of his career, Frankie lost it all because, very simply, he lacked the most basic requirement for the job.

It's All Gone Pete Tong traces Frankie's rise on the Ibiza dance circuit, his fall, and the mystery surrounding his disappearance from the scene.

The film takes its name from Cockney rhyming slang which translates to "It's All Gone Wrong" and includes numerous interviews with world-renown DJs including (the real) Pete Tong.

Part 24-Hour Party People, part Spinal Tap for the dance music age, Tong is more than a treat for club kids. To quote our tipster, "This movie is hilarious, weird, original, beautifully shot and genuinely moving."

And as if that weren't enough, it's also free. The film opens up this Friday at a handful of theaters across town, but an exclusive pre-release screening is happening tonight. All you have to do is RSVP and you're in.

The screening takes place tonight at 7:30PM at:
Laemmle's Sunset 5
8000 Sunset Blvd.
West Hollywood
