The Down Low on Single Shot
Every so often you shoot us questions about how we choose our features and how Single Shot makes money. This should clear things up for you.
Single Shot does not accept payment of any kind for writing features. Every message from Single Shot was written because a real person believed that the subject was worth writing about. We may rave about a product or a person or an event -- but it's because we want to, not because someone paid us to.
That said, Single Shot does rely on advertising dollars. Occasionally, we send sponsor-supported messages to our subscriber list. These messages are as fun and engaging as all the messages you receive from Single Shot. But every paid endorsement is clearly labeled as a sponsored message.
Also, your personal information is safe with us. We don't sell it to any outside parties or advertisers. We don't like spam either, so we try to make it as easy as possible to opt off our list by including an "unsubscribe" link in every message.
If you have further questions about the Single Shot editorial policy, we invite you to send us an email. Or drop us a message by U.S. post at:
